Yes, a Vietnam visa is required for Ecuadorians!
From August 15, 2023, all Ecuadorian citizens are eligible to apply for a Vietnam e-visa for both tourism and business purposes. This e-visa is valid for up to 90 days, with single or multiple entries.
Ecuadorian applicants must be outside Vietnam when submitting their application. The processing time typically takes 3–5 working days, provided that all information and documents are correct.
Requirements for Ecuadorian citizens applying for a Vietnam e-visa
To apply for a Vietnam e-visa, Ecuadorian citizens must prepare the following:
- Valid passport with at least 6 months’ validity from the date of entry and at least two blank pages for the visa stamp;
- High-quality scanned copy of the passport showing all information clearly (including all corners and details);
- Recent portrait photo (taken within the last 6 months) on a plain background, without glasses or a hat;
- Credit or debit card enabled for online payments to pay the visa fee;
- Active email address and telephone number to receive notifications and the visa result.
How to apply for a Vietnam e-visa?
Below are the steps to apply for a visa for Vietnam for Ecuadorians with a high success rate:
Go online the visa application form and select the appropriated visa type and processing time;
Fill in the visa application form with the required information and upload the photo of your passport and portrait photo;
Pay the visa application and rush service fee (if any) and wait for visa approval after a few hours or 1 – 2 working days, as you selected when placing your order;
A completed visa will be sent to your email or WhatsApp, you just need to print out the visa and bring it with your passport to enter Vietnam via airports, land ports and seaports.
