I have been granted a Vietnam e-visa valid from October 14, 2025, to October 21, 2025. However, due to a change in my itinerary, I need to extend my exit date by an additional 2 days. I will be departing for Vietnam next week — could you please advise how I can extend my e-visa before my departure?
Answer:
Currently, the Vietnam e-visa cannot be extended directly once it has been issued. However, you have two convenient options as below:
1. If you still have enough time before your trip, you can apply for a new e-visa with the date of exit October 23, 2025
2. If your departure date is approaching and you don’t have time to re-apply for a new visa, you can use our e-visa correction service. With this service, you simply provide us with your visa application number, the email address used in the visa application and the scan copy of passport. We will submit an official amendment request to the Vietnam Immigration Department on your behalf, ensuring that your visa information is updated in the system to match your passport details and new travel time.
