Is the Vietnam Immigration Department closed during the public holidays?

Yes, the Vietnam Immigration Department, as well as other public institutions such as schools, public service offices, banks, and government offices, are officially closed.
The immigration offices at the airport are still operating on the public holiday to monitor the immigration process, give the entry and exit stamps in travellers’ passports, verify security information, and assist passengers with immigration procedures.
