Vietnam visa for the Sao Tome và Principe citizens

Starting on August 15, 2023, citizens of all nationalities, including Sao Tome và Principe, are eligible to apply for a Vietnam e-visa. However, due to geopolitical considerations, Sao Tome và Principe citizens are subject to special visa requirements when applying for a visa to Vietnam. As a result, they may encounter additional challenges or delays in processing their applications.
Sao Tome và Principe citizens may receive multiple requests to amend their visa applications while they are being processed. Sometimes, even after all the issues have been corrected, the visa may still not be approved.
Sao Tome và Principe citizens are advised to book flight tickets and accommodation only after their Vietnam visa has been officially approved.
