Vietnam visa for Botswana citizens

Starting from August 15, 2023, citizens of all nationalities, including Botswana citizens, are eligible to apply for a Vietnam e-visa. However, due to geopolitical reasons, Botswana citizens are subject to special conditions when applying for a visa to Vietnam. As a result, they may experience additional challenges or delays during the processing of their applications.
Botswana citizens may receive multiple requests to amend their visa application while it is being processed. Sometimes, even after all the issues have been corrected, the visa may still not be approved.
Botswana citizens are advised to book flight tickets and accommodation only after their Vietnam visa has been officially approved.
