Vietnam visa for Burkina Faso citizens

Starting from August 15, 2023, citizens of all nationalities, including Burkina Faso citizens, are eligible to apply for a Vietnam e-visa. However, due to geopolitical reasons, Burkina Faso citizens are subject to special conditions when applying for a visa to Vietnam. As a result, they may experience additional challenges or delays during the processing of their applications.
Burkina Faso citizens may receive multiple requests to amend their visa application while it is being processed. Sometimes, even after all the issues have been corrected, the visa may still not be approved.
Burkina Faso citizens are advised to book flight tickets and accommodation only after their Vietnam visa has been officially approved.
